Eligibility Criteria

  • Nationality: Only Indian Nationals are eligible to apply.
  • Domicile: Candidates must have a domicile in West Bengal to avail reservation benefits.
  • Educational Qualification:
    • A candidate must hold a 3-year Bachelor's degree (except BBA) from a UGC-recognized University with Mathematics at 10+2 level or at the graduate level.
    • Minimum Marks:
      • General Category: At least 50% aggregate marks in graduation.
      • Reserved Categories (SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC-B/PwD): At least 45% aggregate marks in graduation.
    • Additionally, candidates often need a minimum of 60% marks in Mathematics at the Bachelor's level, along with 60% in Secondary and Higher Secondary (10th and 12th) or equivalent examination for General Category (45% for SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC-B/PwD in all these levels). No marks are deducted for unattempted questions.
